The Global Scholars Symposium (GSS) is a student-led event which aims to generate dialogue between prominent world leaders and bright scholars. It brings together scholars to collaborate on current research, envision the future of their fields, and bridge disciplinary boundaries to create new paths of innovation. The GSS allows current world leaders to interact with young academics who are striving to meet the great challenges of global society.

Mission

GSS aims to generate dialogue between prominent world leaders and bright scholars through three primary means:

• Connect – form lasting networks that span the globe
• Inspire – join passion and enthusiasm of new scholars with experience and insight of world leaders
• Challenge – break boundaries with conversations that bridge disciplines and generations

The McCall MacBain Foundation supported the Global Scholars Symposium in Oxford, UK in 2011 and 2012.
