Joshua Allegro

After playing soccer competitively for ten years, Josh became involved in football, basketball and badminton and eventually captained the volleyball and soccer teams at school. For the past two years Josh served as a leader of his school’s annual “camp” to integrate new students into the community. 
Fahad Butt

Fahad is passionate about theatre and the arts. At school Fahad serves as a peer tutor and, outside the classroom, he is an active retirement home volunteer and runs his own tax consultancy enterprise. Fahad previously coached soccer and took guitar lessons.
Erica George

Erica is captain of the school dance team, a trustee on the student senate, and serves on the Mayor’s Advisory Committee as chair of the youth voice council. She is a past participant of the Ontario Legislative Page Program and has been involved in a variety of initiatives including on topics of mental health and leadership training.

Alyssa spent the last few years as a coaches’ assistant with the local CanSkate Program and as a varsity soccer player and DECA member. As the current head of the Student Council, Alyssa introduced an initiative to ensure that new students are given a strong introduction to the school community on their first day.

Fenil is a member of the debate team, the lead programmer on his robotics team, and last year served on the teen advisory group for a local library. For the latter, Fenil helped lead the creation of a study/work/community hub for teenagers in the library. Fenil also plays badminton and chess.
Maitry Mistry

Maitry is currently designing an alternative x-ray system to detect bone injuries in areas where this technology is scarce. She volunteers with the local library and museum and tutors children with disabilities. At school, Maitry founded the DECA club and is also involved in peer tutoring.
