Our Scholarships & Fellowships

Alongside our granting to leading scholarship programs around the world, we have founded five of our own scholarship and fellowship programs.

Our programs invest in young people who show a strong commitment to their communities and who demonstrate potential for leading change. We prioritize characteristics the world needs of its leaders – empathy, integrity, courage, bias to solutions and to action, and humility.

Our goal is to nurture the next generation of leaders through comprehensive supports that go beyond a financial award to include mentorship, coaching, skill-building, cross-cultural and cross-professional connections, and access to a community of like-minded peers.

McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill

Established through a landmark gift by the Foundation in 2019, this comprehensive, leadership-driven scholarship program supports outstanding students from Canada and around the world to pursue a funded graduate program at McGill University. The McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill are based in Montreal and operate independently from the Foundation.

McCall MacBain International Fellowships

The Fellowships allow Canadian undergraduate students to spend a year abroad, during which they learn a new language, study, and engage in a work term. Through the fellowship, students develop cross-cultural competencies and other attributes such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability that are critical for global leadership.
