Hometown Communities

Niagara Falls and Huron County are the respective hometown communities of our Founders, John and Marcy McCall MacBain. These distinct communities have had a profound impact on shaping John and Marcy’s values, aspirations, and early experiences, and they deeply care about giving back and strengthening the vibrancy of their hometowns, through investments in education, well-being and mental health, and community building.

With a population of approximately 94,000, the city Niagara Falls, Ontario is home to a diverse and growing population for whom the tourism industry generated by the Falls themselves plays a pivotal role in the local economy. We invest in expanding opportunities for young people in Niagara Falls, and fund initiatives which provide strong supports and services to the population and helps build a strong a community.

Huron County is an agricultural region in southwestern Ontario, Canada comprised of 9 rural and small-town municipalities that are home to a population of over 60,000 residents spread over more than 3,000 square kilometers. We invest in expanding opportunities for Huron County’s youth, improving rural well-being and health, and supporting a variety of initiatives that build stronger rural communities.
