John McCall MacBain grew up in Niagara Falls and has deep gratitude for the early educational and community supports he received. Our work seeks to support youth, strengthen community, and help Niagara Falls navigate demographic and economic changes over time.
What We Support:
Investing in young people’s potential: We believe in reaching a diverse range of youth with opportunities to develop their skills, explore their potential, and build resilience. We support scholarships and extracurricular activities to invest in the next generation of talent from Niagara Falls.
Our flagship initiative is the MacBain Niagara Falls Scholarships, which recognize the leadership potential, character, and community contributions of youth in Niagara Falls by investing in their post-secondary education. Learn more about our scholarships.
Improving healthcare: We support initiatives that invest in the health and well-being of those who call Niagara Falls home. Doing so means meeting the needs of a growing and increasingly diverse population.
Community well-being: We support local partners to tackle challenges that have a significant impact on the well-being of the community, ranging from homelessness and food security to services for asylum seekers and refugee claimants, and building safe spaces and outreach programs for youth.
