Sara Parker

Sara Parker graduated from McGill in 2023 with a BA Honours Political Science. She was the founder and director of the Canadian branch of Encode Justice, recruiting members, establishing programming and partnerships with Montréal based organisations, notably MILA, a Montreal-based artificial intelligence research institute. Within the McGill community, Sara was a senior editor with McGill International Review and dedicated time as a peer tutor with the Arts Undergraduate Society. Sara currently works as a Research analyst with Media Ecosystem Observatory leading the study of the effects of Meta’s Canadian news ban. She will study a MSc Social Sciences of the Internet at the Oxford Internet Institute. |
Sean Coady

Sean Coady will graduate from McGill this spring with a BSc Honours Neuroscience. His research investigates the role of dopamine in Parkinson’s disease and adolescent development. As VP Fundraising with the Neuroscience Undergraduates of McGill, he created events and fundraised for a needs-based scholarship, and with McGill Office of Science Education developed and hosted presentations on science-based tips for academic success and well-being. Within the Montreal community he has dedicated time as a weekly maths and science tutor with Batshaw Youth and Family Centre. He founded and is a Camp Director with a summer mountain bike camp in his hometown of St. John’s, NL. Sean will pursue a masters degree in Neuroscience at the University of Oxford. |
