New Leaf Foundation supports the mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of marginalized youth. Working within anti-oppression, trauma-informed and strengths-based frameworks, New Leaf provides mindfulness, meditation, and yoga programs in schools and in the community to empower youth and the adults that care for them with skills and resources that foster resilience and wellbeing. After a strong track record with in-person programming, New Leaf developed an online Mindfulness Curriculum Toolkit to help teachers and students build mindfulness seamlessly into a typical school day. The Foundation is supporting dissemination of the toolkit to schools across Ontario.
