A regional approach
Our strategy is to concentrate our resources on various critical issues linked to Health, Education and the Environment in a few selected parts of the world. We believe that this comprehensive approach will enable our grants to have a greater positive impact in these regions.
MMF currently supports projects in Europe, Canada and Liberia.
We believe that working with local communities and respecting cultural differences are essential for the success of our projects. We voluntarily keep a low profile to better enhance the work of our implementing partners.
The McCall MacBain Foundation has a pro-active approach in identifying new grants. After identifying a potential partner, we will request a 3-pages concept note, that will be submitted to the Grant Committee. If the Grant Committee approves the concept note, we will request a more detailed proposal with a detailed budget, that will be reviewed by the Board of Directors, upon recommendation of the Grant Committee. The Board of Directors will take the final decision.
If the proposal is approved, the Grantee will sign an agreement with the Foundation to commit to achieve their goals and to send regular financial and narrative reports.
