John H. McCall MacBain is Founder of Pamoja Capital and is a Director of the McCall MacBain Foundation. Previously, John McCall MacBain was the Founder, President and CEO of Trader Classified Media since 1987, the world's leading company in the classified advertising sector, which was sold in 2006 for more than $2 billion. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer since the inception of the business in 1987. He is a Rhodes Scholar and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an M.A. in Law from Oxford University and a BA in Economics from McGill University. John McCall MacBain is the Chairman of the European Climate Foundation and on the Advisory Board for the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy. He is also a long-time member of the World Economic Forum and the Young President's Organization (YPO). In addition, John McCall MacBain is on the Executive Committee of the McGill Campaign as well as actively participating in many charitable activities. He is fluent in French and English with a working knowledge of Spanish.
